On Sunday our local community held its annual Military Tattoo.
Generally consists of a few local bands performing, some dance acts, re-enactments and highland games.
Pretty good fun for a Sunday afternoon. Except for a Sunday afternoon where the humidity was 90% plus! At least the rain stayed away!
I just ran with my trusty 70 - 200mm and, again, just set it to f2.8 to blur out the crowds. I played around with a few shots using a low shutter speed to catch some blur in the dancing / highland games, but they didn't turn out so well. I think I was pushing a little too low. Still all good fun.
Converted to B&W using Silver Efex Pro presets.
Fencible Corp (NZ Maori Wars) -
I finally got the big ball of muzzle fire... not once, but 3 times even! :-)
The games!
Throwing big weights and giant rocks, caber toss, lifting huge rocks. I'll stick with Crossfit thanks... :-)
This guy just made it all look too easy -
