Harvard Flight

So someone else decided they wanted a flight in a Harvard (I had a flight at the start of the year – different Harvard though).

And today was the day. Lee had booked a scenic flight in number 92 Harvard painted up in ‘42 US Navy colours. It has to be the best looking Harvard in NZ (hence the large number of photos that I already have of it!). Rob and I were only to happy to pop out to take some photos. Also a good excuse to try out my new lens and tripod :)

It was a pretty hot day here in Auckland, so there was a lot of haze. Made for a great day for a flight though!

Here’s a few snaps:

Off course, Ardmore is a busy airport, so here’s some snaps of some of the other aircraft about…. the place seemed quite busy with helicopters today compared to other times I’ve been out there.

  2. Thanks. Still a bit hit and miss, but I think that's more about just getting used to using it. And remembering to adjust the shutter speed! :)
