I know I've posted this photo before, but it means a lot and it brings back some strong memories. I took it on the evening of the 24th April 2010 as I stood looking over ANZAC cove whilst working as a volunteer at Gallipoli for ANZAC day. It was a chance for a moments reflection. To wonder what was going through the minds of all those young blokes, on all sides, as the sun set - for many it would have been their last. I will be at the Dawn Service here in Auckland tomorrow morning to remember and will be wearing my red jacket. Best wishes to those taking part in any of the services and those just going along to remember.
